Agree with the first commenter, agree with the second commenter..and i want to add...i like the balance between the funny and the serious parts, there is a little drama but with the ironic sense of humor of both of them it give to the story an original and fresh style that i already love it...
I'm improving my english, so i hope in time give you more useful comments... :P
I'm gonna go into withdrawl when you don't update as often as you've spoilt us with. ;)
This: He gives up because he's had about five beers too few do delve any deeper into this particular conversation. There'd been texts and phone calls shortly after Xabi's hospital stay and then there'd been silence. For years. I blame my PMS emo, but it's pretty heartbreaking, in the most tender way. There's both resignation and acceptance in this sentiment, of a friend who waits there, like a haven, not judging but feeling helpless at the same time, for the other one who lost his way but whom he never stopped hoping to bring back. Angst, yeah, but it's not just superficial entertainment, it's real feelingz. Oh, and the daddy issues coming up... That's going to be even more bittersweet, isn't it, how poor Xabi will be trying to mend his relationship with his little boy (and don't even get me started on his little girl! :D) while not pressurizing him into football... I guess Stevie has it easier in a way, with his Dad being no longer
Luckily, I don't have time to write much now that I'm PMSing, but... there will be upcoming chapters where I could use this mood...

That's incredibly high praise and pretty much the greatest compliment I've ever gotten as a writer, seriously. Thank you!
I just couldn't help myself, there had to be daddy issues... Now that I think about it though... I killed Stevie's Dad (with whom he's very, very close and they have THE most amazing relationship) and unbirthed a perfectly innocent little girl because she didn't fit into my plans. Horrid! :D

Updates from now on will depend on where I find wi-fi on my travels; if not, I'll be back next week.

Your English is perfectly fine, don't worry, and I really appreciate it that you take the time and make the effort to respond to my story. :)
It's very cool to see that mix of taking the piss and DRAMA works for readers, I just can't imagine them in any other way...
