Your local group is the Barony of Madrone (Seattle, King County). Madrone also has the Canton of Porte de l'Eau and the College of St. Bunstable for the people on the East Side and the University of Washington.

Here's their website for more info: http://www.baronyofmadrone.net/

Hope this Helps,
Abrahe

you might stop by fight practice Wednesday night. Its at the 65th Park n Ride starting around 7ish. I'm not from Madrone myself. There will be many there who are from Madrone who can point you in te right direction.

If I'm not doing band camp this week, I'll definitely stop by. I'm excited, I've wanted to get involved in the SCA for oh, about 5 years now. :D

Since your question has already been answered I'm just posting to welcome you to the neighborhood. What brings you to our sunny shores?

Thank you all for the welcome! I moved up here for school--I'm going to be studying sign language, and hopefully becoming an interpreter.

Which school will you be attending? If it's UW we have (as was mentioned previously) a campus chapter. There will be a table at the activities event on the Hub lawn on the 30th, I believe.

Unfortunately, the UW doesn't have an interpreting program--I attend Seattle Central Community College. I live fairly near the UW, though.

Do you know about the Upcoming Events Database? The Barony of Madrone is holding Emprise of the Black Lion, Sept. 25-27, and their Baronial A&S Championship and Day Of Dance on Oct. 3; perhaps you'll be able to make it to one or both of those. Welcome back, and good luck!
