Leading strings!!! Events would be a much safer place (for kids and the rest of us) if people could be persuaded to use this VERY period item.

This. I sew, and somewhat well, and it's embarrassing to have to shell out almost $100 for what I can make for under $10 because my kids found the creek. Tunics and tabards are hard to beat in a pinch at merchants row. But when I went shopping there weren't any.

I'm not sure how to do a bog coat, but the tunics would be fairly easy and inexpensive. :) Thank you!

Seems like a great idea/niche type thing. Perhaps mostly viable at large events where there are likely to be lots of children/families. Having an online end to it, where folks could pick up a card at an event but purchase later, might also be good.

It's so nice to see children in appropriate garb, having somewhere to BUY it would be awesome.
