Anyone care to explain what that was on the television today? Sorry if it's common around here, but I'm a bit new.

Yes, unless I missed something else.

That just means that...that something's going to happen soon, nano desu.

What sort of 'something'?

I'm as much in the dark as you are. I doubt anyone could explain much more aside from that something odd will be happening soon.

I expect we'll either be witness to yet another liberation attempt that will no doubt fail spectacularly, or to a homicidal rampage from the good officer.

Bloodthirsty madmen have free run? Why am I not surprised?

I think that mean's we're in for it, and deep. Those code words tho... I wonder what they could mean.

It seemed like someone was overriding their transmission to get to us. Any idea who they could be?

Not a clue right now. Seems like someone who knows their system tho.

The real question needing to be answered is whether or not they're allies.

I saw it too. It makes me feel uneasy how everything just cut off.

Whoever was broadcasting the original signal likely cut it off on purpose so whoever was overriding it wouldn't be able to speak any more.

A very good possibility. But I wonder if the people who overrided it were the ones who caused that.

If they were trying to communicate, then that would defeat the purpose, unless they wanted to stop us from hearing something the original transmission was going to say.

It happens about monthly. Today is an important holiday for the culture the town is emulating, so I'm not surprised.

Just what culture are they trying to emulate?

A small town in 1950s America, if you're familiar with that.

...Hmm. I don't think America has been around for a century or so where and when I'm from, so I'm not familiar.
