I have been grappling with wordpress recently, trying to create a proper blog, along with grappling on how to adapt to a Mac after ten years of solid microsoft PC use. If I can bloody well operate half a million pounds worth of complicated X-Ray machinery in a hospital then I can conquer this! This logic makes sense in my head ( Read more... )

The transition to Mac has fried my brain a little, but it was well worth it. I know just roll my eyes at the uselessness of my work PC and keep forgetting to right click, but they'll never provide us with anything better.

I'm sure we knew each other back in the day... although I am that bit older, and frankly was a bit of a cliquey bitch back in my teens. I think you lived just over the back from us though? And I was a young leader in the Guides for a while before uni and cheap booze dragged me away?

karmen is sure i must have known you as well, i was a weird weird kid who stayed in and read most of the time or pretended to be a pony :) so wont be surprised if i'm not that memorable!

Not that we really talk, but I'm still having trouble remembering my brother isn't 10 anymore. And he's engaged now - mental!

It seems so long ago that I was living there, and I suppose now that I'm knocking on a bit it is actually quite a while - 7 years in London already!

I want to come party with you on your 21st. I was thinking about working at the kids camp again during the holidays I have in May, but I'm definitely swaying towards coming home.

Well done on your victory! Although I feel as your friend, I should be discouraging you from getting into fights of any kind, especially with jakeys. That said, you are a feisty lassie when you're angry.

Also, macs are evil, and I swear, I shall never convert. My soul has been sold to Bill Gates.
