Another Year

So the year ends and I find myself another year closer to 40. I know I'm still 5 years away from it but it'll be here before I know it. It's strange because in my mind I'm only about 25 or 26. I don't mind getting older. It just makes me feel like there's only so much time left to do the things I want to do

*hugs* I'm 25, and only just. And I feel that way sometimes. I have since I was about 20-21. It doesn't go away until you act on those feelings. And then only by degrees, it's human nature to want and strive.

Striving is good. I wonder what I'll be doing in 5 years. I should make some goals.

Sounds like me, I still think I'm a child. *clings onto her pink blankie and tugs at her ponytail* I'll start maturing at 50 I think. How scary. Maybe growing up isn't so bad. Just as I think 27 is not that old, I'll turn 28 soon. Gah!
