the very WORST part of a dream
is when you wake up realizing the thing you got back in it
isn't there when you wake up
whether it's your grandparents, an embarrassing drunken night,
or my very best friend.

the dream fit everything together perfect
but when i woke up things weren't even
going in that direction.
