The little one is now over two months old and growing. Unfortunately for me, she has a rather needy personality. She sleeps extremely well at night (for now) usually falling asleep somewhere around the 10pm region and waking up sometime around 9am but she's just not sleeping during the day. Ahvie is back home, Tylure made it back to America, the last few days have been pretty stressful for me because Ahvie has been very very fussy and not wanting to be anywhere but on mommy so I haven't had a chance to write. Saturday afternoon, we took Ahvie to the hospital. She's having problems breathing. At first, it was just when she was eating. She'd start choking, then gasping for breath. T called the nurses who said this was quite normal for newborns as they are learning to eat/drink/suck correctly. But then on Saturday it happened when she was just lying ( Read more... )

After 17 (nearly 18) hours of labor, Ahvie was born at 6:08 am on the 15th. She was born via C-section, which I'll give details about later in a cut and on a different day. I am at the hospital right now, hubby brought his laptop so I could make this update. I should be home either Wednesday evening or Thursday sometime, depending on my recovery ( Read more... )

I have yet to hear anything from my brother and/or parents in regards to my uncle, if he's still in the hospital or not. I'm going to contact one of my aunts, see if she can give me some information on that front ( Read more... )
