Does anyone happen to know what an authentic 18th or 19th Romanian Prince might look like?

You could possibly use the rest of Europe as a guide; Romania was well up with them until the 1930s/40s. (Bucharest being little Paris etc) There are some good museums in Bucharest with historical clothing however I think from memory the date back to pre 1800s.
