Doctor Who, The Shakespeare Code

Another very enjoyable episode. I'm really starting to love Tennant's Doctor now and he had some real crackers, line-wise in that ep. The guy playing Shakespeare was a delight to watch, as was his and the Doctor's interactions. The "fifty seven scholars just punched the air" bit was marvelous. <3 Oh, show, definitely falling back in love with you again.

The only thing I wasn't too wild about was the mention of Rose in the "power of a name" bit with the witch. "That's the name that keeps me fighting"? Seriously? He's 900+ years old and he's been saving the universe on regular basis long before he ever met Rose. Writers, do you think there are perhaps other things keeping him fighting? That line really didn't ring true for me.

I do hope they'll ease up with the Rose references soon, because the odd mention every now and then is good continuity but sometimes it just sounds forced.
