I don't know much about loading music from a computer to an MP3 player. What are the most important hardware concerns for a system that will be doing this kind of thing? I would think your biggest issue would be your interface to the device (usb, firewire, usb2) and your internet connection speed for the other end of the process. But are

Nope, not really. CPU speed and RAM will only be a problem to the extent that they are a problem for any other computing purposes. In other words, if you can't run MS Word or some similar program without locking up, you might worry, but otherwise you're OK.
