playlist randomosity

surprisingly enough, You Could Feel The Sky by Boards of Canada segues quite nicely from The Sky Is Broken by Moby.

[Both of these are songs I usually skip when they come up in the playlist - I had to skip back to find out their titles and that's when I realized the titles were related]

I had a similar experience yesterday: Jeff Buckley's rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah segues nicely into Don't Panic by Coldplay, especially when iTunes fades one into the other. The ending guitar from Hallelujah blends into the opening chords to Don't Panic as though they were written to fit together.

No relation of title, of course, which is what you were really remarking on. I'm merely observing that Shuffle mode sometimes produces serendipitous beauty.

yes it does. I keep telling myself I'm going to write those segues down for future mix-making, but then I don't.
