This article rather supports what I've thought all along - namely, that it's essential that there be a variety of public transit choices in order for any given type of public transit to succeed. I am annoyed that the shiny new station is way the hell out in the suburbs, surrounded by a sea of parking, though. I hope there's also a station actually

I'm from downeast Maine and my town doesn't have trains OR buses. I hate Portland for having both. Life, it seems, is biting me in the ass.
