ha ha ha for "days of sometimes combative debate that led to Pluto's undoing"

Aw schnap: sucks to be Pluto, sucks to be Charon. But then again, it always did! This is the most coherent solution, I think.

I've had approximately 1.2 hours of sleep. I miss Ginny already. She's visiting in September!

entirely unrelated, as i'm poking over here from tamnonlinear's journal...
i suspect it's just too early in my morning, but...i thought i recognized your lj-name from somewhere that had little/no connection to tamnonlinear, and then checked and realized i'd seen you comment on jencallisto's as well. maybe elsewhere? so...erm...who are you? how do you know these people? i am curious. hi!

the world just keeps getting smaller. or something. clearly it is too early in the morning for me.

I know J from high school in Minneapolis; I don't know A at all in real life; I think I randomly friended her because I saw her sparkling witty posts in another random lj friend's journal. Do you know them both? Lucky, lucky you! :)

Yeah, I was always hoping we'd kick Pluto to the curb.

"It could be argued that we are creating an umbrella called 'planet' under which the dwarf planets exist," she said, drawing laughter by waving a stuffed Pluto of Walt Disney fame beneath a real umbrella.

Oh, those wacky Northern Irish neuron star specialists!
