Lost Finale - SPOILER WARNING

Man, nothing is more frustrating than watching a finale like Lost and having no one to talk to about it. Most of my RL friends stopped watching Lost a while ago, and no one at work watches it save one - and she hasn't seen the finale yet. You got the first part, the plane crashes - and handful of people survive and have a bunch of weird/supernatural/whatever experiences on the mysterious island. Some of them get away after 4 months and go back, live for 3 years and then are compelled to return. (mostly just to catch the show up to real time and not be stuck in 2004, in my opinion). All that stuff was real.

This season there was this sort of "alternate reality" timeline where they showed what their lives would have been like if the plane had never crashed - that turned out to be fake, a purgatory (so to speak) where they all waited to find each other before moving on.
