First Impressions: The Sims Medieval

So I got The Sims Medieval last night. If you're not interested in my mini review, have a nice day, otherwise click on the cut. I forgot to reinstall Fraps on the new computer, so I didn't get many screenshots using the in-game camera. Hope to later.

Also - there may be what some people consider spoilers contained herein - so be warned.

These reflections led you to an epiphany... )

I may actually pick up Sims 3 now - I didn't before because my computer wouldn't run it, then I didn't feel like playing catch up.

Sims 2 doesn't have traits, but rather you assign points to certain characteristics on a scale of 1-10, for example Neat/Messy. You can have a super fussy Sim who gets pissed when people leave puddles after they shower or a total slob who won't autonomously flush the toilet.

The traits in TSM are both good and bad as well. Also, Sims can "overcome" the fatal flaw trait via quest (which I did with my Compulsive Gambler knight).
