Does anyone know............

...........where I could buy some opera glasses/very small binoculars? I've seen some small binoculars but they all go from about £50 and upwards. I don't want to spend a fourtune as it's an item I'm not going to use very often so I don't see the point of spending lots on it.

it's the one place i was hoping to avoid as I can *never* seem to find what i'm looking for without giving myself a headache.

maybe i should start an 'i hate ebay community'? she says ponderously;-)

I found the "corporate morale raising (failed)" ones we talked about, which I still suspect might be a toy. But they're labelled "4 x 30" and do make things look bigger (especially Molly, who has been transformed into a black and white tiger).

I'll bring them next time we meet, or send them bouncing along with Pogo-Courier if that's sooner, and see what you think.

Excellent, thanks it will help me see the details i need as the pics are near the ceiling.

However, I still want to get a proper pair as I'd quite like to have them for gawping at cathedrals and other distant arty objects in future, but right now you're saving my dissertation.

*hugs*

Thanks, I never thought of checking through the pros.

7dayshop.com

Folding pocket binoculars, £6.99 delivered.

I've bought tons of stuff from 7dayshop and I've not been disappointed and would recommend them.

And I have a pair of their small binoculars and they work ok (nothing stunning but for the price I can't complain!)

Otherwise I use the zoom lens on my D-SLR :-) (unless there's someone watching of course!)
