3. A Deadly Game - Season 2 - Episode 24 / A Deadly Affair - Season 3 - Episode 1
Castle and Beckett investigate what appears to be the assassination of an intelligence operative. Meanwhile, Beckett continues her romance with Demming, jeopardizing her relationship with Castle. Forcing them to finally face down their feelings for each other.
Beckett and her team burst into an apartment on a murderer's trail, just to be surprised when they see Castle, who they haven't heard or seen in months, standing over a dead woman's body holding a gun. Beckett, has no other choice but to arrest Castle until he proves his innocence.
Poof, you're dead is sort of the closure of what started in last season finale. Castle ends the relationship with his ex wife Gina, for the second time, which leaves Beckett again considering what to do about it. Or at least that was her reaction -for a minute- once she overheard Castle saying on the phone 'it's over'.
On A Deadly Game, Beckett breaks up with Demming to accept Castle's invitation to spend the summer with him, but Gina makes her appearance before Beckett had the chance to speak. On A Deadly Affair, Castle comes back with a new book, and still in a relationship with Gina, to find out Beckett is now dating a new guy.
We still need to know how next episode is gonna play with this situation, a kiss could change everything.
And I want to know what else they're gonna make up to keep them apart, 'cuz if Beckett broke up with Demming, she could easily break up with the doctor, right?
The thing now is that Castle doesn't know she knows about Gina, and I'm afraid neither one of them is gonna do anything about. Especially now that they have a season 4, they can now drag this affair to next season.
