I'm a loser.

Jun 01, 2009 00:38

I just spent an hour and a half trying to put my hair up in curlers. Pincurl clips were thrown. Soft curlers were hurled.

My roommate's commentary: "Now I know why they say men have fifteen more minutes of free time a day than women."

And I have to go to work in the morning. Have I mentioned that I really wish I could be on a permanant swings

I admire your old-schooledness. (I could have said attention to historical detail but felt the occasion merited the creation of a new term!)

However, I suggest you try rags. They're easy to get the hang of and I find them easier to sleep on than bobby pins. I should know, I had stick straight hair until it changed texture when I was about twenty.

Hey, lady! Inventing words is always encouraged. :) I think I'm all thumbs, though, as the rag curlers I've tried (an old t-shirt cut into 6-in strips; don't say I can't do frugal) just fell out. Right now I'm trying some foam quasi-rag curlers a friend gave me, so we'll see how those do. Maybe my hair's just too short...

The pincurls are just hit or miss. Tonight they went in fine with little tantrum-throwing.

How are you?
