The Cats: a sad update

Menino was fixed last Thursday and I feel sorry he has to wear a cone around his neck for a week. He is most displeased with the apparatus which we only remove when he eats or drinks. Poor thing.

Menina is depressed and suffering from gastritis due to a nervous breakdown. The vet said the most probable cause is jealousy. I think I have mentioned

:( I'm sorry. We've been having problems with out cats, too. It's hard to see them suffer or be unhappy. I hope they both adjust soon.

I'm sorry, Ana. We are parents of a kitty, too, so I know it must be hard for you to watch them and feel as though you can't do anything to help. I hope Menina gets better and that she's eventually able to adapt to Menino's presence.

P and I have toyed with the idea of getting a second cat a million times and our biggest fear is jeopardizing the kitty-dynamic we have right now. So I'm rooting for Menina and Menino!

Hope you are doing well, otherwise. I think of you a lot!

Oh, Ang, you're much remembered all the time as well! And I know you guys are a great parents to your kitty cat, so you'll know if getting a second kitty it's the right thing...but it is a hard decision!
