I just got around to updating my electoral enrollment with my new address (my bad).

I love the fact that the form has a 'If the place you reside does not have a street or lot number, draw a sketch to indicate where you live', followed by about a third of a page blank....

Don't forget the sun in the corner, with pretty rays. And some seagulls.

Hey - I've totally lived somewhere you had to do that.
My address at the time was something like:
Name
The House Over The Bank
Riverside
Flintoft's Mouse Point Road
Small Country Town
North Canterbury

C.
(er, I've also successfully received a letter addressed to me by name and small country town and nothing else - no address, post code or provincial designator)

Small towns are great for that.

My dad successfully got a letter addressed to "The Great White Fisherman, RD6 Thames."

I can't join in on the weird address stories, but I would like to relate in a similar vein that my parents are on their third address without moving house.

There's a surprising number of people who live on anchored boats. Makes it interesting when the river is along the elecotral boundry.
