Hands and feet

Just the past couple of days I've gotten to the point where I can tell when the baby's hand or foot moves around near the surface of my belly. Crazy! That's so exciting!! So neat when you see that tiny little outline of a hand push out on your belly. Have you felt him hiccup yet? Kelsey always had the hiccups. It was funny at first, but eventually got on my nerves because it was all the time and quite often was at night after I went to bed - which was also when she would move around the most, keeping me awake for a long time. Her hiccups continued after she was born for a while.

I might have felt hiccups, but it's hard to distinguish from a kick for me. I guess those really regular "kicks" probably were hiccups. :)

That is the best fun. I still have dreams about that stage from time to time, little knees and heads and rearends going by. Is Ansel on the list of names?? ;)

It's pretty crazy when he scrunches himself up all on one side, and if I pat my belly I'm basically patting him on the back.

We are planning to name him Ansel Irwin. It seems we might have people thinking it's Hansel, but I have the same problem with people thinking my name is Hannah, and it's not so bad really.
