glad to hear your update :)

I agree -- pregnancy may be a natural state, but natural does not mean, in any way, simple, easy, or comfortable. it's such a relief to hold that baby, especially after the trials of the last trimester. I think I enjoyed my first pregnancy more even though it was more fraught with difficulties. With Sam I was just like "Ugh, let's get this over already, my hips are killing me!" ;)

hm, the heels don't sound like a pregnancy thing, but could be aggravated by it. Your balance is all thrown off by now. My feet mostly hurt because they were swollen. Are you wearing super flat shoes or something with a little rise to it?

wishing you good health! I'm getting so excited for you guys! My friend Rachel is a couple weeks ahead of you so I can imagine what things are like at your house. :)

The shoes I wear out of the house have a very small rise, but not much. When I'm at home I wear flat flipflops or just go barefoot. My feet hurt a LOT today at work and I took a couple of tylenol to take the edge off. When I got home and looked at my feet, the puffy one actually looked almost normal again for the first time in weeks. So, I was glad to see that, but I still need to figure out this pain.

The massage did seem to help for the remainder of that day, but then I was sort of back where I started. Unless the reduced swelling today is a delayed effect of the work she did. She was really good, totally tuned in.

I love reading your updates on your pregnancy. It doesn't make me wish for pregnancy for myself again - I hated being pregnant and I hated having to shed the weight after Kelsey was born (that was the worst part - I weighed in at 196 lbs when I went in to have her). I was lucky like you having a very helpful, kind, patient and giving husband. He really had no choice - I grumpy, mean and demanding and moved veeeeerrrrrrry slowly close to the end of my pregnancy. He had to be the polar opposite of me so that I might be a little nicer ( ... )

I'm having such a hard time picturing you being that big! It must have felt so good to start getting back to your regular size. And being without all of that foot pain!
