I'm writing this stuff down mostly as a record.

We were really worried about reflux recently. It seemed that he would eat, turn red and scream, spit up, and scream for almost every nursing session. It was terrible! I'm glad Ansel's little tummy is better. Some of these babies are really mad when oversupply calms down and they have "normal" milk flow rates at last. They are fussy about the oversupply being too much for them at first, but when it calms down, they're all "Where'd my milk go, lady?!" Sam was like that. If he had to nurse more than a minute to get a letdown he would have a fit. Either way, glad he's feeling better.

Do you have an API chapter in your area? You might really enjoy API. It's largely families who are really happy to be raising their kids the way they are, which makes a big difference over going to a support group where people are struggling with whether they're doing the right thing. LLL is a big help, too. I wish I could go more. I may be one of those "alumni" moms who shows up for meetings again after Sam is old enough to sit down & color for an hour. Then again, he will probably still be nursing at that age, heh.

We had a chapter in our area for a while, but the leaders quit so we're not currently meeting. (bummer)
