Oh, hi!

Oct 21, 2010 10:01

It's been a long time since I have posted here in LJ Land, but I had been checking for other people's updates regularly. I thought. I must not have been logged in and didn't know it, because suddenly I see all of these posts that I somehow missed, weeks worth. So, I'm trying to catch up now. Sorry ( Read more... )

i was sorry to hear about may, back when you posted it somewhere else. my zack is about that age and probably has "a mass in his lung," per x-rays, so i'll be hawk-eyed about signs of failure.

ansel has learned the greek alphabet! (i love the greek alphabet.) i'm especially fond of omicron, for some reason. :)

I don't even know the Greek alphabet! But Mac made sure to teach it to Ansel. I should probably learn it, because Ansel will point to a letter and say the name and I can't even confirm the pronunciation for him most of the time.

I hope Zack's quality of life stays good for a while yet. It's heartbreaking to watch them deteriorate! :(

yes, it really is. in my case, i'm deteriorating right along with him. (not a joke -- sometimes we both groan and grunt when trying to get walking, and i understand why he goes "oof" when he jumps down from my bed.) he's been a good, loyal pal to me, and i love him, even when he poops on the floor.

good to see you on here -- :) though I am still very sorry about kitty.

I love to hear what Ansel is up to. He sounds like so much fun. I'm glad you are all feeling better, too :)

Thanks, Mary. I love the age he is at right now. :)

I like reading about your life and am glad to see you've updated. So sorry to hear about your cat though! I don't think I've accepted my cats' mortality yet and I'm probably in denial about it. When I was a kid we had indoor/outdoor cats who just "never came home." I've never really dealt with it before. I dread it.

Sorry that I just made that all about me. I really am sorry about your cat. It sounds so hard to go through.
