I have really wanted to enroll him in some kind of tumbling or gymnastics class, but it's just too expensive. We went to a free intro class at one place, and then they called us over and over for about a month trying to get us to sign up. I do hope I can get him into some kind of martial arts when he's a little older, though. I think he'd love it.

I thought of jujitsu because I was reading someone else's LJ (not someone I know -- just someone I stumbled upon) who wrote about watching her daughter compete in some horseback riding thing, and the horror she felt when her daughter fell off the horse. And the relief she felt when she saw her daughter execute some perfect jujitsu move that allowed her to fall gracefully without injuring herself. So of course reading about your son made me think of that -- it seems that he is experimenting with learning how to fall. :)
