Having you on my f-list means that I get to save some of my precious reading time for the comics I peruse. You summarize so well and with such panache that the originals might pale in comparison.

Really, though, I do like the fact that you are willing to wade through the morass (and why is that word so fitting in the context of this post?) and point out the highlights. I get headaches trying to make sense of the rhetoric,

I don't necessarily think she assumed any immunity to it. This is simply part of the culture from which she comes--that creepy love of feeling persecuted and ever-so-much put-upon, embracing and even reveling in it. So she's playing to that, seemingly without grasping just how whiney and unbecoming it actually is. The better staging would be for her to put on the "brave face" (was that a lip tremble? just a teensy, tiny lower lip tremble? awwwww....) in public and have someone in the second tier spokesperson ranks do the She's So Persecuted shnivveling on her behalf. (I nominate Maggie Gallagher for that role--because, you know, she has never before seen such vicious, unwarranted ATTACKS on a public servant... ever.... EVER EVER EVER!!! Well, until Carrie Prejean, that is. *rolls eyes*These ( ... )

I said it the minute I first saw her - Sarah Palin was that "mean girl" at High School that tried to make our lives misery with snide remarks, stealing our boyfriends, sucking up to the teacher, telling tales about us to the form mistress ...... and either bullying or otherwise coercing others into doing her homework for her.
