So my new roommate was a no show. Late, late last night I got this email from her.
Dear Robin......
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the authur and finisher of our faith.I will like to inform you that i had a slip off the staircase with the heel shoe i was putting on and i had a dislocation in which i have just been discharged yesterday,i regret putting you into this delay in as much i would like to be in the house relaxed already. i am going to pay any bill that i might have caused you due to my delay that you are incure.please take note this is not a delay tactis but it a honest truth.In order for you to meet up the payment has been issued out so please kindly get back to me once it has been received,though i will update you as soon as i get the tracking number from the courier service.
Once again i beg of you to have patient with me and i understand your expectations for me i pray that the good God in heaven shall continue to be your strenght and joy and due to all this i had to re schedule my arrival date to 5th May 2006.I will be fully recovered at this time.
I hope you understand and you will bear with me.

She sent me this pic of her time before last she emailed me. Anyone know if this is a random internet/model photo?
If she had shown up I would have thought she was actually a real person, but now that she has postponed again, I'm thinking she was just some random person in Zimbobway-Kalamazoo trying to scam me. ;_; But then again, what if she actually is a legit person who just has had some bad luck? I think I'm going to tell her that I can't wait for her and can't handle any of her money and maybe email her some links to apartment complexes in the area that have single rooms just incase she is actually legit...? But of course that means I have wasted all this time in the roommate hunt and still need to find a new roommate. ;_; It's really frustrating.
