Yeah, even cable couldnt be more than another what $100/month? and split 3 ways that is $30-40 per person..? Iono. I dont watch tv much so I dont have cable right now. But I couldn't afford $600/month on an apartment anyway with all the other bills I have. If I could only find someone to move in with me, we both could pay $400/month for the apartment and all be happy....
*sigh*
So did ya read *all* of Inverloch last night? lol. What did you think of what you did read?
Heheheh. How late was it when you stopped reading? lol. I stayed up way too late last Friday night reading another webcomic that I just found out about. It was 3am Saturday morning and I had 3 months of comics left when I finally decided to go to bed and read the rest in the morning. But I had finished the a coupld of years of comic strips that night....I was so close but just couldnt stay awake long enough.
All I can think of would be water/sewage and cable, but there's no way those would add up to another 200/person. Maybe the landlord is asking more for rent, either because it was advertised wrong or because he's just a greedy little bastard? Unless this is a bloody MANSION, there's no way it's worth 1600/month.
In any case, here's a piece of advice - 3-bedroom houses (and apartments, even) rarely have 3 *equal-size* bedrooms. When I lived with the guys in Atlanta, we split the rent based on the size of the room: I only paid 375 out of 1800 because I willingly took the smallest in a 4-bedroom house. If you can stand a small room, I say you should propose the same idea to your propsective roommates.
Well we went and looked at it and it didnt look anything like the pictures. The building has that expensive feel to it, but the apartment itself is pretty old. It reminds me a lot of the old apartment that Amanda wanted to rent when I decided to keep my one in Conway and she moved into the older apartment. It looks a lot like that apartment, except it has a little more room, nice hardwood floors and better paint/prettier walls. But it has a lot of the "old building" problems like a wierd layout with having to go through the only full bathroom in the house to get to the "office" or alternate bedroom. And it has mostly on the street parking which I'm not fond of... and it didnt have a washer and dryer nor did it have hookups for them
