Vladdy did it again.
For the sixth time in his career, Vladimir Guerrero was awarded the Louisville Slugger® Silver Slugger™ award, his third in a row with the Angels. Previously, he won while playing for the Montreal Expos.
Guerrero led the Angels in home runs (33), RBIs (116) and batting average (.329), among other categories in the 2006 season. He now has hit .300 or better in all 10 of his full seasons in the Major Leagues. His eight seasons of at least a .300 average, 30 home runs and 100 RBIs are the most among active players outside of Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez (nine each).
