Word. This reminds me of something discussed in my Social Inequality class at CSUF. The professor talked about the trend of scapegoating immigrants during economic downturns in the US. (Old example: Chinese Exclusion Act; New example: SB1070.) It was a very eye-opening, but depressing class.

Yeah, it's classes like those that should be part of general education requirements. I don't know why this isn't talked about more.
