I had no idea he grew up in Chicago. huh.
Regardless of what was thought of his acting or his politics, he is an American icon and will be missed.

yah, Heston was always bittersweet for me. I thought he was gorgeous, and I like him as an actor but some of his politics didnt sit well with me.

As much as I thought Chuck was batshit, I always had a soft place in my heart for him. I would listen to him speak and tear out my hair...when I didn't want to giggle and pat him on the head.

yah I didnt agree with most of his politics but I loved him as an actor.
