Baked goods

I spent some time in the kitchen with the new mixer today. The bread recipe I've been working on lately turned out way better using the KitchenAid vs. the bread machine. The texture is completely different, which I attribute to better mixing, and the loaf was much taller, which I attribute to using a longer rise time and properly forming the loaf ( Read more... )

The cookies sound great! I just baked sugar cookies last night -- I owe a colleague a debt of gratitude that will be paid with baked goods!

I admire your bread-baking prowess. That's something I'd like to tackle someday ...
