Haven't heard from me in a while, eh? :) I must say, it's a little disconcerting to go to make a post in this journal and it tells me I last updated 45 weeks ago. That's almost a year! Erks. Sorry I've been so quiet, everybody.
Anyway. Since finishing Beaters & Seekers, I really haven't written very much fanfic. What little I have done

So when I found the time to actually switch on the TV on the proper day, it's been somewhere towards the end of the first season - and I decided to wait for a re-run. Which until today either never happened, or I totally missed it.
To cut a long story short - I'd love to read a new FF of you, but since I have absolutely no clue about Supernatural in general and Sam/Dean in particular, I'd better skip this until I finally have the chance to catch up. *sighs*
But I promise to be a good girl and finally, finally, finally read "Beaters and Seekers", which I planned doing like FOREVER.
*hugs*

You never read B&S? *gasp* For shame! :) Well at least, when you do get around to it, it's all finished and ready to be consumed - unlike waiting for updates which, I'm the first to admit, could sometimes take a lil' while on that one. ;D

I AM ashamed! :) But to defend at least some of my honour - I did read a part of it. I don't exactly know how many, but I think I read the first ...let's guess... 10 chapters? Maybe even more. But then "real life" kicked in and I lost track completely.
So I'm really looking forward to reading it!

*giggle* Sorry 'bout that. Just keep reminding yourself that it's an anagram of "Alan Rickman" and it shouldn't hurt your eyes too bad. ;)

Your story looks great! I love your work - I'm in the middle of 'reading' Boy Who Lived A Bit (I actually made mp3 files of it and listen during my lunchtime walk each day). I'll probably have to do that with Disconnect because I hardly have any time to read these days.
Thanks so much for sharing it. I'm really looking forward to 'reading'.

Yay for Wincest! :) I'm living and breathing the stuff at this point in my life, I must admit...
I'm intrigued about your mp3s of TBWLAB. How does that work, then? Did you actually record yourself reading it? That must've taken AGES! :)

I bought the British voices (program and voices $50), but use the female voice exclusively. The program makes mp3 files. Very quick and dirty way to make them, and the voice is pretty good. I'd like a bit more inflection, but it's certainly not robotic.
It's great for an editing tool if you're a writer. It picks up many typos that even betas miss (lose/loose, breath/breathe), and it also helps with the flow. It makes it very easy to find redundant words and phrases. It is the best $50 I EVER spent!

Thank-you, darling. I'm so pleased you liked it!
And yeah... *sheepish look* I've already jotted down a bunch of thoughts for a sequel. :)

Yeah, hopefully I'll get some time this coming weekend to start posting some of those. Unfortunately for you though, m'dear, you've probably already seen them all, as I'm fairly sure all of them got posted on Twinspiration. :(
