Oh, I love the plot of this. Nice showing how his memories faded as the reset occurred.

Thanks so much! ^_^ I'm glad the idea of the memories fading came through.

Thanks so much! Glad you liked that last line, too. I went back and forth many, many times with that one, so I'm glad that what I went with in the end worked! ^_~

:) I think any other answer would have opened a whole can of worms then, which would mean sequel.

Very nice.

I guess since Jack really couldn't remember where the flowers came from, it only made sense they must be for Ianto.

Thank you. :) And yeah, I think it's the only conclusion that would make sense given the gap in his memories... Glad you enjoyed the fic!

Gently sad - Jack sort of knows he's forgotten something at the end, but he'll never remember now that timeline no longer exists, and soon he won't even remember that he's forgotten something... She helped Jack save the world and no one will ever know.

*nods* Yeah, I was definitely going for that sort of gentle sadness - that while of course it's better for everyone that things have been set straight, it's not without consequences, and in this case, it's the memories that are lost, and the recognition of the effort they went through to save the city, that no one will ever know about.

Thanks so much for reading. :)
