So I was messing around with my layout because there was a wonky image link error, and somewhere along the line I clicked a box that took me back to the old LJ view, and it's driving me INSANE that I can't figure out how to change it back to the new one. I swear it was in settings, but when I go back there now, I don't see anything

Huh. That's weird. I only heard of people who switched to the new and couldn't switch back. But I remember having a line at the top of my LJ telling me all the time that I am using the old layout and that I should click there to switch to the new. Which I dutifully avoided ;)

So just - wait? They surely start pushing it at you? Although my line is vanished, I think I clicked a button to hide it as it annoyed me.

Yeah, I hated the new version at first, but I guess I must have gotten used to it at some point? Now it seems weird to have the old version :P I just wish (as with many thing on LJ >_>) that it was a little more intuitive, where to make these changes. But you're probably right, I'm sure they'll start pushing me to switch again... (And by then, I'll probably be used to the old version again, and won't want to :P)

I hate also the way Windows10 is pushed at me.

Yeah, it's strange - when I came to LJ this morning, for a brief moment in the log-in process, I saw the little "switch to the new version" box on the right, and I clicked it, but... Nothing changed XD;; I tried logging out and logging back in, to recreate the box, but now it's not there. O_o I'm assuming that at some point, it will return though, so I guess I'll try again when that happens?

I am on the old version and every time I go to my Inbox, up in the right-hand corner is a clicky-box to go to the new version.

Hmm, yeah, that's where I remember seeing it before I switched, too, but... I don't see it there anymore. I suppose in the end it won't take me long to just get used to the old version again :P It's just weird that the option is just...gone O_o
