Since I live not 2 miles from the woman, I am curious about the situation.
Please do not be offended, but I am repulsed by the thought of her with an 8 year old kids. As the father of 14 and 16 year old kids, I would have probably beaten her within an inch of her life before I turned her over to the cops.
I lost my virginity at 16 to an 18 year old girl. That was illegal. Does that make it wrong? Does that mean I didn't love her? No on both counts.
Age is often mistaken for an accurate measure of maturity. It is a fairly accurate indicator of possibilities for level of maturity, but it doesn't really gauge maturity. There is no gauge for maturity, so we get laws written the way they are, with age as the rule.
Tell me you don't know of 30 year olds who who you don't think should reproduce and/or raise kids? Aren't there a lot of emotionally immature adults? Haven't you known any emotionally mature children?
Have you noticed that different states have different ages of consent? No one really agrees on ages. Yes, there are ages where irreparable physical damage can be done by certain sex acts. But what age is too young emotionally? Did you ever play doctor as a kid? If so did it damage you emotionally?
i read a magazine article. It said that a 67 year old had married a 17year old..
It went into detail, giving statments of both people and there families.
Both Families were disgusted at the issue.. But Is It wrong? They love each other dearly.. and the man did not force ehr in any way to do anything. She broke ehr virginity with him. She wants to experiance having children with him... It does soun perverted to some.. 67 and 17.. 50 years difference. But is it actually so bad?? If they love each otehr..
