So over break Claire's was having an awesome sale - 10 pairs of earrings for $5. So today I was sorting through/putting away my new purchases and I decided to count how many I have total.

I have 99 pairs of earrings, not counting broken ones, incomplete sets, or the ones I have at home.

Also, it just occurs to me that I didn't count the ones I'm currently *wearing*. So I do have 100 after all.

I have this organizer thing that has 80 little see-through pockets. It hangs in my closet. Now of course, some little pockets are holding more than one pair of earrings. But it is still fairly (surprisingly) organized.

Urgh, why didn't I hear about this sale?? Andrea, you need to tell me these things!!

I have a pathetically small number of earrings, being that I have lost the match to 3 of my favorite ones already...which is nothing if you have 100, but quite a bit if you only have 15 or so.

They might still have the sale going on. I don't know. It was only certain earrings, though, not like the whole store or anything. Also, this was at Great Lakes Crossing. I don't know if it would apply to other Claire's.
