sigh. no matter what I do, I can't win. a couple weeks ago, I knew I wouldn't need my exacto knife for awhile, so I cleverly hid it from myself so I wouldn't accidently stumble upon it and cut myself, because, let's face it, 3 times is more than enough times to slice one's skin in a semester. of course, I completely forgot where I hid it, so when I ( Read more... )

I have to say I have NEVER cut myself with an exacto knife, even though I used one all the time for our blimp project. And for years before that. (shakes head sadly)

Watch as I cut myself with one today. Don't know when I'll be using one today, but just watch.

Do you think I could get out of the chem lab exam today on the grounds that I was being attacked by thousands of POINTY exacto knifes flying at 1536773799 mph? Because it makes it very hard to study when I am running away in fear.

Well, college is supposed to be a challenge, right? I'm just challenging you! Suck it up and study through the fear! :P

#1...oh man, andrea, i definitely don't trust you with sharp objects any longer....are you okay?

#1...why were you trusting me with sharp objects to begin with?? and yes, I'm fine. My left hand has 3 cuts on it now, though (only one from my exacto knife, actually) and it looks a bit like I'm depressed. I'm surprised no one has asked me about it. :)
#2...no. perhaps I should be; the Eastern Echo could use some serious work. >_< I just print a TON of stuff. lots of photos for art projects, mostly. LOTS of photos.

Hahaha... [shakes head sadly] That's very funny yet in a tragic way. One of these times it's going to be something more dangerous than an exacto knife... don't say I didn't warn you! [cackles evilly] ;)

And, ya, 12 ink cartridges is a lot. Not to mention a rather expensive thing to go through so quickly... Poor dear.

Yeah. Ink is expensive. A good chunk of that large sum of money spent on art supplies was from ink cartridges. Lucky for me I can sometimes convince the art department to pay for my ink cartridges. :)

Also, now I'm going to have nightmares about you chasing me with giant exacto knives. Thanks alot :P
