So both of my classes were cancelled today and I had NOTHING to do. I could have done something productive but of course I didn't. I think I watched like at least six hours of TV. Then, at 10 pm, I suddenly decide to work on some stuff for the symposium. Why can I only be creative at night?! If I ever write or draw or anything it's usually at night ( Read more... )

No, they were cancelled because both my teachers were sick.

Uh... why were your classes cancelled?

Also, I know what you mean about the productivity at night thing. After I came home from school, I slept for like 2 1/2 hours, then I watched TV for several hours, then at like 10:30 I decided to work on this week's online math homework, then after doing a couple of problems, I decided to do my linguistics reading, then I did another math problem, then I decided to check Facebook and LJ, and that's where we stand now. I should have gone to bed some time ago, having done the math homework and linguistics reading earlier in the evening, but let's face it - college students just don't work that way.

That's how I've been working the past four years. I think I picked it up from Thomas, who started it his last few years in high school and I feel bad because our little brother does it too now, and he used to be one of those kids who'd come home after school and do their homework right away. Now he is a high school freshman putting off his homework till 12 or 1 am!

But, see, I didn't even have any homework, so it was more like, it's midnight and I suddenly feel the urge to draw a picture! Yay for no sleep!

Dude, I was like that last night, too. I was just watching TV when, around 10, I randomly decided to work on a scholarship application. Then, about an hour later, I felt an incredible urge to start drawing dragons. So I did. :)

Oooh, that reminds me! I was watching the new episode of One Tree Hill last night and Brooke was talking to this new guy and saying that she couldn't believe nice virgin boys still existed or something like that and told him he was like a unicorn because he was unbelievable (yes, I know, it was incredibly cheesy and sound even cheesier now that I've written it out...) But then HE said that he wasn't a unicorn, he was a DRAGON because they were much cooler and if he was going to be an unbelievable mythological creature that would be it. And then I thought of you, and was all, hey, Sarah would say the SAME THING. :D

...Are you implying that I am a nice virgin boy? ;)

That guy has good taste. Appropriately seizing the chance to be compared to the greatest and most majestic creatures ever to exist/be thought up. (nods approvingly)

"Amen brother!!"
