why I won't vote for *insert random candidate here*

Jan 11, 2008 06:10

Because I don't like them.

I don't need a better reason.

If you don't think it's a good reason not to vote for someone, then piss off.

Edit: Just to clarify, I *am* voting this year. Just not for people I don't like.

* high fucking five *

you know it's ironic that we're given the "choice" to vote for particular candidates, or not vote at all. Then when election time rolls around, it's peer pressure time! I love how people use the " well it's your right as an american to vote!" or " if you don't vote, leave the country!" lines as their only excuse to feel patriotic.
Election time is the most bullying event of the year in my opinion.

I swear half the people I know expect me to vote for Hillary just because I have boobs. What the fuck seriously.

And people seem shocked as all hell that I might consider voting Republican when I'm gay. I blame Bush (both of them) and their neoconservative hordes who have pretty much ruined the public image of conservatism.

There are aspects of both parties which are good, and aspects of both which are fucking terrible, and that's why I think the bipartisan system is a load of crap.
