Well... I'm back in the States, and I couldn't be happier.  Truth be told, I've never been more excited to land in Texas... so there's an idea of the mindset I was in coming back.  It's a little odd being back, I feel a bit out of place, and I talk a little funny... but overall, I'm glad to be back.  But I do miss the friends I made there like WHOA

I wish I could be around to cook up some mischief, madness, and mayhem!!! However, my friend, I shall actually be doing just that in Australia for the next month. We have an exercise (that I leave tomorrow for) going on in bush country...home of the 13 most deadly spiders in the world. I fully expect to meet my doom through one of the creatures there. There are scorpions, dingos, kangaroos...all these crazy animals that want to kill me. (Little do they know that I regularly carry three knives around.) I'll tell you how it all went when I come back to Japan around the 4th of July! I MISS YOU!!!!!!

Wow Mo... your adventures sound spectacular!!! I'm sure you're having the time of your life, and that makes me endlessly happy. Have fun in Australia... be safe... and be sure to get in touch when you get back to Okinawa. And when are you coming back to the States??? I'm enduring a summer here in the Heights (splitting time between there and Ann Arbor, actually) until I can find a job and (hopefully) head out to California, where you'd BETTER come visit when you're back in the States! I love you and I miss you... and I still love to talk about my friend in the Marines ;P. Until we meet again... ciao, and watch out for the kangaroos!
