i used one of those recruiter thingies that you can get...

I have all these men and no stuff though - someone stole all my money!

the key seems to be to get one or two giant weapons and defenses, from what I can tell. Tomorrow... ;-P

I use the clickwhore one - it's pretty self explanatory. You grow your army very fast this way. ;-)

I use the Doomsday Device and the Rogue's Guild (Clickwhore crashes my computer).

I'm keeping my army down at 50 atk and 50 def, because I get attacked less easily, and I'm more effective on my attacks of other people.

But I've got nearly 3k in sentries and 3k in spies. Heh. I get money less quickly, but I'm much more effective.
