I can never manage to affect a sepia tone with PhotoShop. I've found that tweaking the colour balance and then the saturation and lightness can produce some interesting results, particularly when I do it with layering.

I love these shots here. They have a luminous quality in the exposures, but the subject matter...it makes me feel like I'm peaking into a quiet moment in an everyday life. It reminds me of one of my favourite photographers, Helen Levitt.
