We have been researching birthday party venues, but last night Anna informed us that she wants to have a small party, with just a few girlfriends, here at home. Uhhh..... okay!!!
Shift in plans means we now have to kick it in gear, with one month to paint the dining room, find a new table and pendant light, etc. Pressure, but the good kind!

Gold medal Winner, "Super Claw"
After listening to the sounds of busy scissoring and tape rippage, Karl and I were treated to the sight of Anna leaping into our bedroom and snarling, "I'm Super Claw, a vicious velociraptor (hissss), and I won this gold medal for having the longest claws!"

Vanilla Tea Toddy
Pour low-fat milk into mug, insert vanilla bean teabag, microwave 90 seconds, let steep one minute more, add one teaspoon of whiskey, a wee pinch of nutmeg, and a bit of Lyle's Golden Syrup (or honey). Imbibe.
