I find that I feel much better when I spend late nights working in the lab. There is something comforting about it. Something that just seems right. I suppose it's the synchronizing of my behavior and one of my roles--notably, that of being a graduate student. It's difficult, though. You shrugged off a distraction?! Wow! Congrats!!

Also, I think you should flee the country to study as soon after I arrive in CO as possible. We'll combine a my welcome party and your farewell party. All the signs will simply say "TAKE LUCK."

I jest, of course. Things do sound like they are much better for you lately, and whatever you decide to do will be an excellent choice given any of the options you've stated.
