Going Troppo

So, every year in Darwin at the end of the Dry season there comes what is known as the Build Up. This is a time of year when the days heat up from around 30 C to 35 C. Great cloud formations tower and drift enticingly, providing spectacular sunsets and an ongoing tease as they steadfastly refuse to rain for months. Loved this. Extremely evocative. Nice use of "roiling" ;)

We're just coming out of rainy season here, and everyone is talking about how it took extraordinarily long to get rainy/hot this year. Alarming stuff on both sides of the globe.
