Both of these are beautiful, but it's funny to see them together considering the events of your Mackie fic. The second poem is all brooding lonely Mackie, and then the first one is a sweet little drummer knocking at his heart. heee

oh my goodness... *laughs and HUGS!* I totally didn't see them that way, but you're right... I don't even know if I'd written-- I think I'd written Lar into the end of the Mackie story at that point, but I wasn't thinking that at all... the first one I think happened cos I'd been watching qaf that night, was thinking of Babylon, the second one.. I was pretty much just rambling, half-asleep, letting whatever came to mind go.. that was the night I took those photos of the glitter and rocks and sparkley things on my bed, thus the glitter line.. the song forgotten..not quite sure, but that might be referencing back to what I'd written about not long before this one..body sore..*blushes* will explain later.. the ending lines, I'd been messing around with some old photos, cutting and pasting, writing, melting corners, just seeing what I could do with it..and I'd accidentally ripped something, I forget what... so really, all of that came from very literal things, but when you look at it apart from those, it *does* take on something very ( ... )
