I'm sad that I don't get to be there to say goodbye to you. We had many good times back when I lived in Indy, and I don't even think we got to have a real goodbye when I moved here. It makes me sad :(

I know how you feel about Zionsville being like him, even though it is such a boaring place, it had a really comforting feeling. All summer when I was alone in my house all I wanted to go was go back to Zionsville. Now that I am here at school though, this actually feels kinda like home to me. When I went back to my actual house last weekend, all I wanted to do was come back here.

Please write me, Scott.

You're right about Washington DC. It's an amazing place and it really makes you appriciate how lucky we are to live in this country and to even have the ability to argue about politics. I went to Ford Theater where Lincoln was shot, and right across the street I got to see the bed in the house that he actually died in. It's just crazy to think about all the people that have done such amazing things for our freedom.

Have a great time, we're proud of you. I'll be thinking about you every time I go to Eagle Creek to get my coffee and you aren't there in the window. Haha. Good luck. :)

I know! I saw that bed too! I also saw the bullet holes in the pillars of the capital building from the war of 1812. It was really interesting.
