As a guitarist, it is impossible for me to NOT love Dragonforce.

Some of the guitar leads I'm certain are physically impossible.

The difference is that although my cousin just went to a Flaming Lips concert, I am going to go to a Regina Spektor concert in October. Pretty sure you lose the going to concerts for bands who sing about tangerines game.

Yeah, I was out of town when that concert happened, I had pretty much almost bought tickets for it. But, instead, I was at a family reunion.

It was August 4th at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit.

The show was actually sponsored by 89X, strangely enough.

Exactly. After you left the other night the rest of us ended up laying in the grass, and I kept having to get up and put sweaters on. It feels like fall is sort of sneaking up on us- and before we knew it, it had taken our nights, and now it's advancing on the days. Frightening, honestly.

Also, my brain is broken. I cannot think at all. I was totally ready for school to start for, like, two weeks and now I can't deal.

I mean, I rarely go to concerts. But there are a lot of people over whom I swoon playing in Detroit in October/November. Hopefully I can convince my cousin Megan to chaperone me.
